This project is a collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction of the Americas and the Caribbean (UNDRR), Trade Facilitation Office Canada (TFO Canada), and the Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies ARISE Canada.

We aim to work with Canadian businesses, trade support organizations, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Canada and Latin America to develop tools for multi-hazard adaptation and disaster risk reduction. These tools will support supply chain adaptation strategies and investment plans, helping businesses address the impacts of climate-related extreme events and multi-hazard disaster risks. The project seeks to enhance the capacity of businesses and supporting organizations to recognize, plan for, and invest in climate adaptation.

The Canadian workshop is expected to be Oct.23rd, 2024 in Toronto, ON. This event is funded by the Government of Canada.
