Center of excellence by ARISE Network of Chambers of Commerce in the Caribbean (CARICHAM)

The CARICHAM Centre of Excellence is a platform launched by the ARISE Network of Chambers of Commerce in the Caribbean (CARICHAM), aimed at enhancing the resilience of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the Caribbean. 

This platform offers over 100 resources in five key areas: 

• Business Resilience 
• Digital Transformation 
• Financial Management 
• Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems 
• Operational Management 

These resources are designed to support MSMEs in navigating challenges before, during, and after disasters, thereby ensuring business continuity and sustainability. The Centre provides tools, information, and training to help businesses strengthen their disaster risk management and operational strategies. For instance, the Business Resilience Toolkit includes templates and guides for developing Business Continuity Plans, available in multiple languages to cater to the diverse Caribbean region. By fostering partnerships and sharing best practices, the CARICHAM Centre of Excellence aims to build a more resilient and sustainable Caribbean economy.
