Launched in 2015

ARISE Japan is a well established Network. Private companies in Japan established ARISE Japan right after the United Nations adopted the Sendai Framework in 2015.

ARISE Japan’s Action Plan for 2019-2022 has been published as a Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitment (SFVC) at the SFVC online platform and annual activities contribute towards the five deliverables.

As a flagship activity, ARISE Japan organizes the ARISE Japan Annual Symposium every March around the anniversary of Great East Japan Earthquake, March 11 in 2011. ARISE Japan has published its three year workplan 2019-2022 as a voluntary commitment at the SFVC online platform.
