ARISE Philippines
Launched in 2015
In 2012, after the tropical storm Sendong, SM Prime Holdings took the role to lead advocacy for disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) within the private sector.
SM Prime Holdings organized the first annual meeting amongst top leaders in the private and public sectors to address issues relative to DRRM. In 2015, after the UN adopted the Sendai Framework, SM Prime Holdings and over 60 partners formally established the ARISE Philippines Network.
